Local Anesthesia Application
The dentist applies local anesthesia to ensure the patient’s comfort and prevent pain. The anesthetic is injected into the gum or cheek near the tooth to be treated. For children who are afraid of needles, a numbing gel or spray is usually applied before the injection.
Primary Tooth Extraction
After local anesthesia, the extraction of the primary tooth is completed painlessly by our pediatric dentistry specialists using advanced techniques and professional skills.

Permanent Tooth After Extraction
Applying anesthesia to primary teeth does not harm the permanent tooth. The belief that baby teeth treatment affects future teeth is completely incorrect. Local anesthesia is applied to specific anatomical areas and is naturally eliminated from the body after a certain time.

Post-Extraction Care
• Bite on the tampon for 30 minutes to 1 hour
• Do not rinse or spit for 24 hours
• Avoid eating and drinking for the first 2 hours; then consume soft foods
• Do not brush teeth on the day of extraction
• Avoid acidic, hot, or cold foods on the day of extraction
• Do not touch the extraction site
• Do not create suction with tongue or cheek
• Use prescribed pain relief syrup if needed
• Children may accidentally bite their lips due to numbness—careful supervision is important
Space Maintainer After Extraction
Recommended to preserve the space after early loss of baby teeth and ensure proper eruption of permanent teeth, preventing crowding.
